CORRESPONDENCE AS A SERVICE MOMENTUM BUILDS FOR SMART COMMUNICATIONS WITH NEW PARTNER AND WINS IN NEW VERTICALS
Smart Communications announce the addition of a new partner and three new customer wins from pharmaceuticals, media and manufacturing sectors, demonstrating clear momentum for their cloud ‘Correspondence-as-a-Service’ strategy
BOSTON– Smart Communications, a division of Thunderhead, has today announced a new partner FINEOS, and three customer wins with a global biopharmaceutical giant, media company and specialist manufacturer. All three organizations are using the company’s innovative Correspondence-as-a-Service (CaaS) offering which rapidly extends the reach of enterprise-class customer communications in new markets.
The pioneering CaaS solution from Smart Communications gives organizations the tools to create correspondence and business documents for their customers that are highly personalized, on-brand, multi-language and in compliance, all within their own familiar established environment. CaaS is based on the company’s Smart Communications SaaS platform, and has been purpose built to provide seamless out-of-the-box integration with many vertical and ecosystem solution providers, already evidenced by partnerships with Salesforce and Guidewire in the insurance industry. CaaS is designed to enable a diverse range of partners from a broad range of industry sectors to provide their customers with a scalable, enterprise correspondence capability that is fully integrated into their core platforms.
FINEOS, a provider of core software solutions to the life, accident and health industries, is the most recent ecosystem partner for Smart Communications, further reinforcing the company’s dominance in insurance. “Smart Communications offers powerful cloud collaboration, interactive and real-time document production capabilities to our clients,” said Chuck Johnston, CMO of FINEOS. “We’re extremely pleased to offer Smart Communications to our customers and help them deliver best-in-class customer correspondence.”
“Customer experience is a central focus for customer communications initiatives today, enforcing the need for data-driven and relevant communications. Smart Communications is a technology leader in this market, aided by its integrations into Guidewire and Salesforce. Its recent customer successes of its Correspondence-as-a-Service offering in non-typical CCM industries such as manufacturing and pharmaceuticals are great examples of how Smart Communications is taking a more comprehensive view of its role in the CCM market,” commented David Stabel, Associate Director of InfoTrends’ Customer Engagement Technologies Service.
Smart Communications General Manager and SVP, George Wright, said, “We’re very pleased to be expanding our reach to new industries and in use cases that haven’t been seen before. They demonstrate the clear momentum of our Correspondence-as-a-Service offering, which allows FINEOS, and all of our partners, to take our innovative cloud-based Smart Communications solution as a service into their industries and ecosystems.
“The diverse range of industries they cover demonstrate how we can provide a universal enterprise-class customer correspondence and documentation solution that’s simple to implement for brands across many different verticals.”
