Dave Towers is a growth-oriented, customer-centric executive who leads revenue strategy and global commercialization for Smart Communications. As Chief Revenue Officer, Dave is responsible for scaling the sales organization—spanning direct sales, solution consulting, partners, and commercial operations —to deliver sustainable growth in highly competitive markets.

With more than two decades of leadership in enterprise software, Dave has deep domain expertise in customer communications, engagement, and digital transformation. Before joining Smart Communications in 2018, he held senior roles at Pitney Bowes Software (now Precisely), including Global Vice President of Sales for Customer Engagement Solutions and Global Vice President of Alliances & Channels. In those capacities, he built and executed global go-to-market strategies, forged high-impact strategic partnerships, and drove accelerated penetration in dynamic technology sectors.

At Smart Communications, Dave’s leadership has been integral to the company’s strong track record of organic growth supported by recurring revenues and best-in-class retention rates.  He and his team have expanded the company’s global footprint by building a world-class sales organization and cultivating long-term relationships with clients and industry partners. He brings a collaborative, results-driven approach, combining commercial rigor with agile execution to help enterprises transform how they interact with their customers.

Dave holds a degree from Northwestern University, and he is passionate about mentoring emerging leaders and shaping future-ready customer engagement solutions.
