Martin Krähenbühl

Martin Krähenbühl has been General Manager DACH and member of the Executive Team at Smart Communications since September 2021. He has more than 20 years of experience in senior management positions at renowned financial institutions and insurance groups. He was a member of the executive team at Swiss Re and headed the department for online business development. At Bank Julius Baer he was Managing Director and responsible for the Business Services department.

Martin has expert knowledge on a wide variety of topics in the finance and IT sectors. This includes corporate finance, treasury, and the consolidation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS. In addition, he has extensive experience in information and performance management as well as in risk information management. He has been responsible for architecture, application development, security, and IT supplier management as well as the planning and implementation of outsourcing projects for application development and the implementation of processes.

Martin has many years of developed leadership qualities, keen business acumen, and a strong focus on aspects of value creation. Before his position at Smart Communications, he worked at Assentis in the positions of CEO, COO, and CFO. During this period Assentis recorded strong profitable growth and received several awards. In 2020, Assentis was voted “Partner of the Year” by Avaloq.
